Kate and James

Married in June of 2006, James and Kate created Yu Web Development after the birth of their daughter Cadence provided them with an added incentive to find a way to spend more time with their family, without jeopardizing their financial survival. Drawing on their existing talents, they discovered a happy coincidence: the skills and experience each one already possessed complemented the other's in just the right way to create an efficient, well run business.

James

James, who comes from a family of programmers and engineers, falls naturally into the world of hands-on-programming, and handles the bulk of the coding. Having first gotten interested in html and web design in college, he has been performing freelance work on a number of websites over the past two years. Recently, he has begun working on creating his own web content and has used his inherent understanding of programming to master the skills necessary to effectively implement original designs.

Kate

Kate, on the other hand, focuses more on the aesthetic and managerial ends of Yu Web Development. A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Kate uses her strong aesthetic training to help create visually effective designs. She draws from her experience as an office and stage manager to keep the business running smoothly and effectively.
